Organised by the community group BDCyclists on 16 December 2016, 1,186 riders kept a continuous single line along the Purbachal Highway in Dhaka, beating the previous mark of 984 cyclists set in Sarajevo in 2015. Guinness World Records confirmed the title in January 2017.
